The Awaze Qaum, the leading source of Punjabi and Panthic News, is a non-profit Punjabi / English news publication run by the Sevadars (voluntary workers). Our goal is to provide accurate news and information from all over the world to our UK and European audience and worldwide audience via www.awazeqaum.co.uk.
Established in 1986, Awaze Qaum is registered with the G.P.O., ISSN : 0967-9936.
Since 1986, it has operated with the generous donations of concerned Sikh organisations and individuals. Operating on a not-for-profit arrangement, no salaries or commissions are paid to Awaze Qaum Sevadars. Awaze Qaum does not promote or advertise any anti-Sikh groups anti-Punjabi groups, sects or behaviour.
As well as covering breaking international news a vital part of Awaze Qaum’s mission is also to counter anti-Sikh propaganda, reporting any distortions by anti-Panthic entities by offering reporting of first hand accounts of significant Panthic events and the life of the Shaheeds and Panthic luminaries.
